The Laphroaig Single Cask no. 56800316 produced only 129 bottles is bottled after maturing for 16 years in oak casks.

Tasting Notes

Nose: burning embers with plenty of smoke, lemon peel and cereal notes.
Palate: follows the nose with plenty of peat, charcoal and smoke, more lemon peal but a hint of ripe red fruits
Finnish: the smoke turns more to rich earthy peat, the lemon zest becoming a warming spice.
