After a hard work of almost 2 years, the team of the Marqués de Alcántara through their studies on the Chardonnay and red grapes were able to obtain the natural pigments of the grape skin such as anthocyanin and managed to stabilize them in the elaboration of their blue wine.
In addition to achieving a very attractive color, its system of cold fermentation enhances the aromatic characteristics of the variety increasing the quality of the wine. In all this process they have always had a maxim in mind, not to alter the taste of the 100% Chardonnay wine.
