For this unique bottling we hand-selected a blend of single malts from ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks and European oak hogsheads for a velvety texture. With the rare addition of whisky aged in virgin American oak – layering sweet aromas of vanilla to our renowned flavors of medicinal peat smoke and seaweed.
Colour: Bright gold. Imbued from four varieties of oak.
Nose: Bold peat smoke with notes of stewed fruit and warm, toasted vanilla.
Palate: Peat smoke and oak embers with hints of seaweed, pine and smooth buttercream.
Finish: Lingering peat smoke with hints of salty liquorice.
Maturation: Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks, European oak hogsheads and new American oak.
